Great upgrade for Hawk 250 with stock chain

Works well on my 2018 RPS Hawk 250. Excellent. Combined with the 45t rear sprocket, I get to 60mph easily despite weighing just over 200lbs.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Some imperfections

Perfect fit for my Hawk 250, great product for the price and quality

Well made sprocket, fits the Hawk 250. I chose this 17 tooth sprocket. front and sprocket with 45 teeth. Speeds in the range of 60 km/h. The stock 15T/50T has a low power rating, top speed on this setup is probably 35-40 mph on a good day.

  • Decent performance

Fits well. The slots are a little thin.

This is up and seems to work fine. This made my Hawk 250's transmission a little more manageable. The splines weren't as deep as the original, but the spacing was right and they went to the right and lasted that far. I'd feel a little better if it had deeper wedges, but so far it's holding up. Just take a look.

Fits TBR7 2020. Works

I had trouble putting this thing on at first. I figured out my joint and it works great. The TBR7 has problems with the chain tension. It is a fact that 2020 chains are very tight so find a good HD 428 chain. This sprocket gave me the best cruising speed of around 80km/h. He'll reach 55 with 46T behind him, but that's what drives him. The next update is carbohydrate. If I get it to 55, all is well. This is not a racing bike.

Get a few different tooth counts.

I won't use the word cheap to describe JT sprockets as they are made from quality steel and we machine them, but it is an inexpensive way to add versatility to a small bike. I bought 3 for my Brozz. I replaced the rear ones with 42 teeth, bought 15 and 16 front teeth. The front sprockets are quick and easy to change and having my 3 front sprockets (17 standard) makes the bike more fun because I can customize it to my specific needs for each application in 15 minutes.

Do you have a small ATV 90? You need it

Put this on my little caretaker from Arctic Cat 90 (kymco, mongoose, whatever). Yes, this is a "kids" quad, but it's handy for towing a small trailer, maintaining hunting trails, moving things, or general adult goofiness with cold drinks. The problem is that it's not designed for an oversized 200-pound child. Put that on and a new chain (maybe too, I don't know if it fits the factory chain), remove the throttle ring from the CVT and you've got a brand new beast. ! tops out at +30 mph (just a…
