I am a prospective musician and had to learn to do everything myself. What most people don't realize is that quality content is about more than just music. Images, videos, graphics, etc. are extremely important to get your name and image out there. I've taken really good photos with a black background and am planning to get a green one so I can easily Photoshop it. Highly recommended

This background fabric is perfect if you want to use it for simple photos. I use them for a variety of events so I needed something durable and this fabric does just that. Washes very well and I love that I don't have to dry clean it. It folds into a neat package and is ready for the next use. I have ordered this and the white and both are excellent quality. Exactly like the picture but better.

Definitely not what I would call muslin. It's a dense fabric with a kind of smooth inside. Reminds me of a curtain. It's good because it doesn't let backlight through and seems like it'll last a long time, but wrinkles can't be softened with warm water mist like other thinner muslin backdrops I've had, meaning it's not the best backdrop for travel is outdoor shots. If you have a custom studio and you can hang and stretch it without wrinkles, then everything is fine.

Not bought for streaming but as sun protection in the living room. We have skylights and large windows on the south side of our home and it gets a TON of sunlight. It becomes so bright that it is very difficult to watch TV or play video games. We could get blackout curtains or other items, but that would be too expensive or too time consuming to install. It was easy to fix. I highly recommend it for blocking the sunlight or using streaming or photo backgrounds as it's easy to set up.

I usually use $1 black poster board and will keep coming back to this until I find something better. In the photo on the left you can see my old method and on the right a satin sheet background. These are wrinkles that cannot be smoothed out. And glitter really is useless up close. It would be better to hang evenly like a curtain and a few feet away for people shots or for items like eBay jewelry etc that don't need to be print quality. This is not good for professional portfolios.

Item is fine. He's black, he has one sleeve, he's working. One might think that not so much can be wrong. Not so. It's folded and tightly packed, with creases that are probably the result of some ironing prior to packing. Trying to iron it back into a flat, solid fabric surface is a real hassle: it took me over an hour and it's still not quite right. Julius Studio has included a contact card in case of any problems. But they ignored my two attempts to start a discussion about it. Shame.

Professionals can skip this review. In any case. I gave 5 stars because the quality seems great but for new people entering the studio PLEASE don't be as happy as my a. and think it's a complete background and stand. Should have known it was too good to be true. I just didn't read, which is rare, but I saw the photo of the review and I was very pleased. I needed a cheap black background for a project I'm working on; I had a really nice thick black muslin backdrop a few years back when I was working more studio style, but over the years I've sold all that gear.
