JULLISON 6 inch Low Profile LED Panel Recessed & Surface Light

I ordered three of these lamps in one evening but for some strange reason they had to be ordered separately. When they arrived one was packed separately on Friday, the other two were packed together and arrived on Saturday. They were easy to install and worked as they should.

Ideal for subtle light

I have installed them in all the closets in my house. I didn't want to pay for recessed lighting and it was an inexpensive way to get recessed-like light. The main reason I wanted a recessed one was the low profile because the ceilings in my closet are low. The light is perfect and the price is unbeatable

Electric Strobe Lights

Some low quality LED lights strobe (wave your hand in front of the light and it looks like your hand is in time lapse). This happens with some lightbulbs, often with Christmas lights and with these lightbulbs too. I can't stand the strobe effect so we took it out and brought it back. I really wish it wasn't lightning! The light looks good although it is slow to install. I could handle it if the diodes weren't strobing.

The smallest profile on the inside makes the installation as clean as possible, and it is also desirable to use longer mounting screws.

The cleanest unit with the lowest back panel I have ever seen. That means there is no stress on the 14 gram wires in the ceiling box unless they are pushed. The plain blue plastic ceiling box with this backlight was the easiest installation I have ever experienced. For the 6" LED I used a 4-1/4" ceiling box hole saw and it looks very clean with no ceiling gap. I used a rebuilt/old 4" diameter work blanket box that worked fine. It shines best in body and trim kits

Some poor quality LED lights have a strobe effect (wave your hand in front of the light source and it looks like your hand is in time lapse). Short-term problems (3 years is not enough for LEDs).

Some of these installed when we did a facelift in late 2018. We have some with dimmers and others not. We think they look good, are easy to install and work well with dimmers. Just 3 years and we have 20% of the defaults. I was most concerned that in 10 years there will be these lamps, when will they burn out? I didn't expect that we would replace them in 2.5-3 years.
