Living in Florida I don't use batting for quilts with t-shirts, but the shirts I used for my latest quilt were very "favorites". The dancer cut the necklines and sleeves and I needed something to stabilize the material so it doesn't roll. It worked great. Since I'm making blankets for the people I love, not for profit, I've spent more than usual on it. Yes, I will probably use it again!

While Tailor's June offers a large number of interfaces compared to buying from a fabric store, you need to consider how large the shirts you plan to use, otherwise you'll end up spending and buying more than you would if you were across the yard to run.
