The waist fit was just great, I treated it as delicate and tried to make sure it was washed in cold water and tumble dried on a low setting. Unfortunately I didn't see one of my sons throwing it in the dryer as normal and it shrunk a bit in length so I only wear this one and bought another one at home. The material and design of the shorts are good, I'm just frustrated that they shrunk a bit on me from the dryer incident and now I'm comfortable just wearing them at home.

I just received 1 pair of these shorts in black and immediately ordered 4 more pairs (2 black and 2 navy blue). I am currently in mandatory home quarantine due to COVID-19 and wanted more household clothes. I usually wear 2x in shorts/trousers but bought 3x as comfort is the most important thing. Very comfortable shorts! There is nothing about them not to like. They sit comfortably at the waist, have large pockets and come down just above my knee (I'm short). The waistband is a two inch thick, soft elastic that does not require a zipper. They don't pucker around the waist like many elastic waist garments. These shorts are very good. They're light, but not so light that they show through. My legs are loose, but not enough to make me look fuller. I'm 160 pounds, 5ft 3, in my 50's and my legs are chunky and bumpy so shorts wouldn't fit me, but these look pretty good and don't wrinkle like wicker. I LOVE these shorts! Very comfortable stretch fabric. Fits me perfectly. I usually wear denim shorts, I always do, but these have made me reconsider my wardrobe! Update 3/20/21: Still comfortable, still rolls a little. I bought these for the treadmill and they may not be the best option but they are great shorts for casual use. Too bad I really liked the shirts of this company. Update: age. They're comfortable, but they roll up terribly quickly. I don't expect them to last long at this rate but we'll see. It's been about two weeks and I've only worn each pair a couple of times. I use an exercise bike and a treadmill, but I also laze around in them. phew
