    Requires plastic bead separator with lid

    The tray is so thin that if you press the compartments with force, the plastic will rebound, scattering the beads everywhere. It would be much better with a lidded compartment, so once you have separated the colors you can close the case and they will stay separate. After 3 hours after I sorted all the colors my daughter went to pull out the tray and they all fell out and mixed together.

    but I think it would be better for an older child

    Cute Set. We bought it for our six year old. It works and she loves it but I think it would be better for an older child. The beads are small and the bracelet wheel is a bit complicated for them. Also, it comes in a nice case and has a tray, but there is no way to organize the beads in the case. The shell has no lid and the body has no sections. If you put everything in one suitcase and pick it up, everything will mix up. I think the packaging is a big plus.

    Lots of tiny beads but don't use organizer

    Bought this item for my daughter who just wanted to make bracelets out of it. This is the set she chose so of course I bought it for her for the holidays. When I opened the package I threw away the pink organizer that came with it as it would have been flimsy and a nightmare. The beads in this set are for the most part very tiny and any movement in the pink storage case will result in thousands of tiny beads flying apart and never to be seen again. If you buy this product just invest in some…
