It sucks. My little birds (budgies) can't reach everyone.

As a holder. It sucks. My little birds (budgies) can't reach all the millet through the holder. But as a toy, it's a different story. I watch my female budgie for hours! I'm trying to take the EMPTY holder out of the adapter and I think I can see. She climbs on it and tries to pull it out, damn funny. Don't leave them unattended in a birdcage

These are great for putting millet or other treats in and challenging the bird to find food for its treats. The only problem is that if your bird likes to chew, it can be destroyed quickly. If you have more than one cone, don't use plastic cones. Even my little rider quickly destroyed one of them. Don't leave your bird unattended and order a few of these so you can replace them when they're chewed up.

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Some little things

Budgies love it in the birdcage Cases

I have two budgies and they haven't killed him once in the few months I've had him. It easily holds small to medium millet and you can squeeze large sprigs of millet into it. My budgies love to swing on it and I've even noticed that one of them is smart/lazy enough to pull him over to the perch and hold the perch with one foot and the millet holder with the other while he eats whatever he gets can reach. I will buy it again if I ever need to replace it or get a second one.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • So far so good

Good product but for some reason it doesn't work for small birds.

This arrived on a Monday and while I liked the color and size (it's blue and seemed big enough to hold a large branch) it didn't fit my budgie. He can't get to the seeds and the branch I put in him on Monday hardly gets touched, although I've seen him peck at it every night. Back to attaching the spray to the cage wall with one of those paperclips I have. It looks like it's easy for him to get all of this, but obviously that's not based on how few branches he actually ate compared to what he…

Please do not buy. Deathtrap for little birds!

I bought this to store millet sprays as a treat for my pair of zebra finches. This morning I was horrified to discover that my male finch had died after getting stuck in this bird feeder. The top is quite wide (compared to a finch head), and while there is a horizontal bar that should prevent this, that bar is not secure. My poor bird must have fallen on his head during the night, pulled out and caught his wing between the vertical bars. I don't know if he choked on the millet, if he had a…
