It does an excellent job of dampening vibrations and keeping my machines stable, saving me from unnecessary repair costs. I used these little isolators to install a fresh water pump on my 1977 GMC RV. I used a 1/16" aluminum plate to make the carriage mount and then another smaller plate to actually mount the pump. Insulators are inserted between two plates. They are almost inaudible now as the pump is pumping in the car. An excellent improvement.
