Great rig but stuck

I used this to mount my Niterider under a Garmin K-Edge mount with a Go-Pro adapter. It was the perfect solution. hard and smooth. But after about 2,000 miles of normal wear and tear, including riding in the rain, the screw between the Go Pro adapter and the Niterider adapter got stuck and no matter what I tried, I couldn't turn the light off. I turned off the light and threw away the attached adapters. However, I actually ordered and reinstalled one of each adapter just because I like them so…

Well made but requires quick release

Probably won't use an adapter. It works well. However, the NiteRider I use with this adapter is USB powered. As a result, I had to unscrew the adapter from the phone mount every time I needed to charge it. So it's likely to only use the mount that comes with the flashlight. If this mount had a quick release like the mount that comes with the flashlight that would be great. EDIT: In the last two months of cycling I decided to use an adapter and mount it to the quadlock phone mount on my bike…

Pros
  • Slim design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Switched to this after my Lumina 900 wobbled and fell off a slightly bumpy descent with a barfly binding holding two silicone straps that light to the GoPro adapter. While the screws on the K-Edge adapter can easily cut into the flashlight's body (be careful when turning it. The back screw is visible so you can be careful, the front screw is hidden by the back screw so that you desire this (one who feels.), but due to the mechanical connection, he has almost no ability to weaken and drop the…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

This product is a high quality mount for the NiteRider light system. I use it a lot on my Giant Defy with the GoPro mount built in. It's well made, durable and serves its purpose. However, I have two issues with this mount: a) it's not a quick release (most NiteRider mounts have a quick release mechanism) and b) it's metal. Since most GoPro bases are plastic, there is an issue with keeping the light in one position. Even if I tighten the mounting screw as tight as I can, the light still moves…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • boring packaging

Nice, functional accessory

A wonderful product that takes my NiteRider Lumina off the handlebars and allows me to focus where I want it tucked neatly under the GPS. Like all K-Edge products, this is a CNC machined work of art. Reading other reviews, I've clearly noticed that people who buy their products think they fit their stock Garmin mounts. You should already have a K-Edge handlebar mount FOR your Garmin (or other branded GPS) AND in this case an additional Go-Pro mount mounted underneath. The NiteRider mount screws
