Great filter, easy to put on, easy to take off. The loving nut on the top makes removing the filter very easy when the filter is in a hard-to-reach place.

This is an oil filter. Coming from k&n, I know I can trust them. The bottom nut/socket adapter is a great feature, as is the pre-lubricated seal. This is the only filter I use on my cars.

I have checked and rechecked and ordered accordingly. The filter did NOT fit. I only noticed it when I changed the oil on Sunday afternoon. The bike sat in the driveway with no oil while I scoured the city to find the right filter.

I use it on a 2003 VRod and it was great. The nut at the end of the filter saves me the use of a filter wrench and makes changing the filter much easier. I've been using these filters for two years now with no complaints. I would recommend them to anyone who has filters in hard to reach places.

You can usually only find the chrome version but Revain has a black version which I use on my VRSCDX. install with a nut welded to the top of the filter. Being a German engine, V Rods require high quality synthetic filter media and are a good choice for ease of use and quality with synthetic oils.

I'm sure it filters well. Haven't checked my oil. But in the end the same one broke off, replacing the K&N filter trying to remove it. I ended up having to loosen the radiator bracket on my custom night sleep rod to insert oil filter pliers to remove it. The filter didn't seem any tighter than usual when I removed it with pliers. The nut is barely screwed on. Any stodgy mechanic is sure to come across a broken nut when removing.
