🔍 K&N PF-1300 Multicolor Fuel Filter Review

Fits many uses, replaced my $50 factory SXS filter with this one. The specs on the K&N website matched everything I needed.

Just a regular black painted fuel filter with "Made in Taiwan" written in white and a K&N paper sticker on it. Nothing special, the sticker will fall off the first time it gets wet. at least it's metal.

Love that this is a quality high flow filter as do my oil and air filters. Keep in mind that it doesn't have a micron rating as it slows it down by filtering out finer particles. You do without this with any high-throughput filter, be it air or liquids. So this is exactly what I need for my nitrous oxide fuel system. Recommended for any productive application.

PF-1300 is what I wanted, ordered and received although the photo in the ad is incorrect. Double check what you want and consider checking the K&N website for the exact part number. Anyway, it's basically the same as the standard auto parts store filters, just painted black with K&N logos. Hoses 5/16" for this particular. Satisfied.

New 3/8" fuel hose and clamps and this - expensive - fuel filter leaks on one side. So especially when it could ignite my car is on fire i removed the clamp from the leaking side and cut an inch off the new fuel hose, carefully reattached and clamped the clamp and - wait - it's still leaking hmmm the engine runs fine so i know the fuel filter is in the right place Direction built in so I'm at a loss and will look for another brand.
