Disappointing performance from brake kit

After I put it to the test, i was extremely unimpressed with this brake kit. The drilling and slotting design didn't provide any noticeable improvement in stopping power, while the ceramic pads were noisy and prone to dust buildup. The only upside is that installation was relatively easy..

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • No improvement in stopping power, noisy and dusty ceramic pads.

Look great, feel great. But

It was a process for everything to stop creaking. They are great and look great on my Camaro SS. but - DO NOT install without first grinding (spinning) the rotors. A rotor at your local store will cost you $20-$30. If you don't, you'll sound like a Greyhound bus every time you stop at a stop light. Once that's done, there's no drop in noise and smooth braking all the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone. but they require more installation effort than originally thought.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Protection
