I can tell you I have used it on many of my small Leatherman, K-Bar and Kershaw knives and it works well. I even speared it with one of my big buck knives and it gave it a good sharpness. It's small enough to put in a backpack or BOB.

The best hand sharpener I have ever used. Brings my Kabar and every other knife to the same sharpness as a whetstone (before straightening). Not razor sharp, but just enough to shave off hair, which I find incredible for such a small tool. Now I'm going to the sharpener on the field.
