Kai 7100 Inch Professional Scissors Review

Item not as described. I thought I bought Kai 7100 but instead I got KAI shears with no serial number which are of lower quality, the tip appears to be cut off/or not sharp and the overall length is 6.5 inches. I am very disappointed with this purchase. The item came from Universal Sewing Supply, I would not recommend buying from this seller.

I bought a pair of professional Kai scissors from my local sewing shop. I didn't believe in the smoothness of the mechanism and the sharpness of the blades. I have quality scissors as I sew a lot and need the sharpest tools. This little couple is just amazing! As another reviewer pointed out, the blades are small but perfect for an applique project I'm starting. I bought these scissors for everyday use. You don't always need large scissors for everyday haircuts. Boy was I wrong. Firstly, these scissors are NOT for children: the tips are sharp as needles! You have to be very careful with scissors because the tips will ruin just about anything. In fact, "heavy" vinyl (?) mine bags were mostly destroyed because of the tips. I ordered the professional scissors from the 7000 series and only now realized that I did not receive the professional scissors. The difference from the product pictured was so subtle that I was unaware I had received a non-professional model. There was no label on the box to indicate the 7000 series or the Pro series, but since they looked like the picture I assumed that's what I ordered.
