Excellent pliers in a hand tool

When wiring, I always have to bend regular pliers so you can see what I'm doing. I end up twisting my wrist at an awkward angle. These pliers make bending the wire much easier.

Pros
  • Dope ๐Ÿ”ฅ
Cons
  • There are nuances

Rescue pins and these pliers are wonderful

Very interesting combination. Works fine as I am an apprentice pulling cables and installing motors. The only problem was that the handles slipped off during use. So I had to return approx. th.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Lots of things

My favorite pullers are good for power tools and hand tools

I bought these pullers because they looked like a pair sold by Milwaukee with no metal in the middle that might shock you if you come up with something hot work. They just arrived and so far they are my new favorite strippers. Well done. Secure. They work well as needle nose pliers.

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Repair

Useful for light jobs

Union electrician, 16 years experience - Great tool with lots of features which means less space in your tool bag. When attempting to remove the 1" knockout connector, I found that the jaw stripping cutout was weak. The jaws were bent by the turning movement and now no longer close properly. I recommend this tool if you can remember not to use it for more demanding tasks.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Crumpled

FLT-? Just try it, you'll never know!

So you're thinking about buying this fun looking tool, I tell you what, you'll be surprised how handy this tool can be to help you in your daily work related activities, not only that, but this (FLT) Fun tool. Well made, looks good and is just as sharp if not sharper than my everyday wire strippers. For the price of verses he can help you with, do it, you'll probably get someone else like me.

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Big and Bulky

If you haven't bought it yet. You need to!

Very easy to use. The offset handle design makes bending, stripping, crimping and other wire manipulations much easier than straight pliers. My wife also liked them for her projects so she had to order another pair for the kitchen trash drawer. Ordered more for my son in law. He prefers them to his straight pincers. Finally, after the return period had passed, there was a small issue with my original pair and the seller promptly replaced them, no questions asked. Definitely worth a 5 in myโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Cable cutters: Heat-treated steel blade for precise cutting of copper and aluminum cables
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Twisting Wire - Power & Hand Tools

This tool solves my problem and probably many others: Wire size? My VA inspector had the construction electricians rip all the wires out of the house and reconnect my house to 12 wires because of the FL code. So my problem is twisting the 12 wire cord to fit a 15 amp outlet that is rated for a 14 wire cord. I gave up and am now buying 20 amp 12 wire outlets. There is enough room to twist and secure the wire. I don't use pins because they always fail in time and require circuit diagnostics. This

Pros
  • Long handle, ergonomic angle head and non-slip rubber grips
Cons
  • Little things

Tried it out, great concept, bad quality in the end.

I bought this about 6 months ago. I love the design, look and feel. The strippers work well, the dies are fine and it's nice to have crimping tools on hand. I have two complaints about the product. First, in hot climates like mine, the rubber grips slip off the metal, forcing you to constantly adjust them. I glued them back on with limited success. Many designers don't consider triple digit weather, so this complaint is broader than just this product. Yesterday after a few months of light useโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Stripping Wires: Strip 10-18 gauge solid wire. Alternatively strip wire 12-20 gauge
Cons
  • So far so good
