The donut maker works.

We bought this pan and it works great. We cleaned following the instructions and kneaded the dough from the book we have. I recommend spraying PAM without sticks and then filling cups. The donuts fell out of the pan when flipped on the rack. No sticking. Made 2 dozen for my grandkids birthday. Don't overfill them or they will rise to the top, but you'll get the hang of it after the first time. Love it.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • No insurance

This is a donut shape.

This is a donut mold made in Germany by Kaiser Bakeware. The pan feels solid despite being light. The price seems on par with other donut pans sold here. The non-stick coating feels durable and is on par with the Nordic Ware pans I have. The donuts are not very big, unlike the giant ones in the supermarket. I made the Cooking Light Donuts and it was barely enough to fill a skillet (rough batter made from 2 1/2 cups flour and 1/2 cup sugar).

favor! in kitchen and dining room

I was so excited when my skillet arrived and was more than happy with my first batch of donuts. I collect cookbooks and found an easy recipe I wanted to try and it worked great! You simply mix together a box of cake mix, 2 eggs, and 1/2 cup of water for the batter. I used a freezer bag with the corners cut out to fill in the sections and it worked great. They bake donuts at 350 for 13 minutes. Be sure to spray the pan first, then the donuts will be easy to remove. I've made chocolate donuts…

great pan, need recipe

This is a very strong well made pan. The donuts popped out effortlessly with just a light coat of Crisco shortening. What I really like is that each donut is about 3 inches in diameter which is good portion control (unless you're eating two). I would give it 5 stars if it came with a recipe I could use - Kaiser's recipe is in metric units and has ingredients I'm not sure about (soft cream cheese?). I tried the recipe I found online and it was ok, nothing special. But the pan is not to blame…

Great pan for great donuts

I've never seen a low-fat donut shape so I thought I'd give it a try. Well the weight of the pan is nice, the non-stick coating works great and the donuts are so tender and melt in your mouth. The recipe that comes with the pan is to European standards, but I found the recipe online and used it. The donuts baked evenly and even fell out of the pan when I flipped them after removing them from the oven. My whole family couldn't believe these perfect little donuts. They are few but perfect for a…
