A good buy. in CB and radio equipment

Compact size and weight. The price is reasonable. The case is tough, good size and weight. Except for AC, everything fits in the case. Adapter.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Perfect radio! on CB and radio

To be honest I can say we haven't used it yet BUT it has all the bells and whistles. I bought this for my husband during an emergency but hopefully we never have to use it.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • Functionality

See Case Review

AD-500 AC adapter is too big to fit in the Kaito RC500 hard case which I also bought to store the Voyager emergency radio. SOMETHING BAD! Of course, my goodness, I will end up missing or losing the adapter!

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Doubtful

Protects the radio, sits firmly on the AC plug.

Suitable for KA500 radio and power pack. It's a tight, ugly fit, but it works. I've posted pictures of how to position the adapter in the pocket and then on top in case it's hard to see the plugs connect to the radio. I'll probably add another piece of foam for more radio protection.

Pros
  • Permanent test results
Cons
  • Long delivery time

Should be slightly larger if you want the charger to fit

If you order a radio, charger and case the charger will not snap into the case. Since I don't have anything else to use the charger it would be great to keep them all together. Also, the body should only be about 1/2 inch lower. Surprised someone didn't think of it?

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I will add later

Not bad overall

One of the main things I like about this radio is that you can put your own batteries in it. In addition, it comes with a removable battery. So you can swap batteries in two different ways. You can charge 3 separate cells on the charger and insert them into the radio. Or you can charge the supplied battery via USB. You can select the supplied battery or individual items for radio playback. The sound isn't good enough for the music, but the voices are audible. For example, I can clearly hear the

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • Reliability
