Needed a replacement LNB, not that the old one was bad but it needed an update as mine only had one receiver. It was easy to set up, if only repositioning the satellite were easier. It turned out well that I couldn't find the signal, although as with the Directv broadcast technology, they dealt with it quickly and installed another stabilizing rod so the dish wouldn't sway so much in the wind. I'm glad the risk of it not working was worth the concern, great product.

I have 2 old DVRs which means only 4 tuners. One of the DVRs was not receiving a signal on satellite channels 99 and 103 on tuner #2 ONLY. Tuner 1 was fine. These satellites transmit local channels. After testing all of my wiring and even installing new B-band filters, this was the last thing I had to replace. The unit I received didn't look exactly like the above but works GREAT. It has the DirecTV logo on it and is only missing the rightmost plastic part in the photo above. The plastic was almost white and not transparent as in the photo, but after replacing it I got stronger signal readings. I hope this helps prevent the "rain fade" that has plagued my 11 year old cracked worn out LNB. Buy this NOW if you keep getting rejected, if your LNB is lazy or if you keep losing signal.
