I purchased this product today from a local store. It works as intended. I had no problem opening the meat grinder. Good quality pepper and salt. Offers the possibility of different degrees of grinding. I am happy with this purchase.

I gave four stars because I couldn't remove the lid to grind. I thought I was doing it wrong because it got stuck. In the end I accidentally broke it and finally opened it. So feel free to touch this product the first few times you take off your top.

I bought this set at Walmart almost a year ago. The first set of mills we bought had to sit on something because it had no lid and dirt on the bottom leaving mounds of salt and pepper underneath. I would give this product 5 stars if the plastic ring hadn't been torn out of the center cover area of the pepper mill. I bought these from Walmart in early October and was very disappointed when I was trying to grind a pepper and the black plastic ring fell into the food. The coffee grinder cannot be used at all without this plastic ring.
