Description of 🔊 Kanto TUK Powered Speakers: High-Fidelity Audio with USB DAC, Bluetooth 4.2, Headphone Out, and AMT Tweeter - Matte White, Pair

AMT TWEETERS - TUK utilizes high-performance AMT tweeters to deliver brighter, more accurate highs. Their wide horizontal dispersion also offers improved stereo imaging and soundstage. ALUMINUM DRIVERS - Due to their high rigidity and low mass, TUK’s aluminum drivers operate at optimal efficiency while reducing distortion at higher volumes. DSP CONTROLLED - TUK features integrated digital signal processing (DSP), designed to optimize audio quality and provide greater accuracy in sound reproduction. ADVANCED CONNECTIVITY - Along with Optical and RCA inputs, TUK includes an independent phono input for your turntable, a USB DAC, a dedicated headphone amp, and Bluetooth 4.2 with aptX HD and AAC codecs for high fidelity streaming. ACTIVE CROSSOVER - When enabled, TUK's active crossover filters out frequencies below 80Hz and sends them directly to a connected subwoofer. Off-loading this portion of the frequency range further improves resolution while reducing distortion.

1 year later and I love them

What a lot of people don't realize is how deep you have to dig to get this kind of sound. The AMT tweeter is very accurate so good recordings will sound AMAZING, but your mate's old vinyl will definitely sound dated. I use Tidal Masters to really get the best out of them and get the best bang for my buck. Because they're so clean, you also need to position them correctly. There are plenty of guides on YouTube for placing your speakers, but once you find the best spot in your room, you'll NEVER…

Disappointing. on speaker

Received these this morning along with 9" Kanto stands. Once I started listening to them I thought they sounded pretty good. Unfortunately that excitement was short lived .These speakers are incredibly fatiguing. , even with the high frequencies reduced. I can't listen to them for more than 30 minutes before my ears start to hurt, even at low to medium volume (60-70dB). I suspect there's something to it to do with the type of tweeter I'm using. Unfortunately, that's not the only problem I've…

We all need to evolve - they have - and they are AWESOME!

These Kanto Tuks are the most advanced and powerful speakers available today. Plain and simple - and reality. I have an Audio Engine HD-6 - the flagship speakers - and am very happy with that - and no less - with the service and support from the companies. Audio Engine is simply the best! However - Audio Engine NEEDS TO BE DEVELOPED - What's missing - What Tuks offer - What the AE HD-6 doesn't offer - Summary: Updated AMT aluminum tweeters - Sound is AWESOME - Air motion transmission - That's…

Good multi-purpose speakers

These speakers do their job perfectly. Premium multi-port bookshelf speakers. You pay a little more for the design and connections, but overall the sound quality is worth it and they're great speakers for watching TV or just listening to music. I don't find them harsh or shrill, but on a few songs with shrill vocals I cut the high frequencies. Bass is precise and punchy where it needs to be, but not too low, which isn't surprising given these are bookshelf speakers with 5.25-inch woofers. The…

TUK tested on klipsch 5 and Audio Engine HD6. One TUK to rule them all!

Not a bluetooth speaker, not a hi-fi system, but something in between. I tested the TUK against the Klipsch 5 and the Audio Engine HD6 and I liked the TUK the best. I tested them with a turntable connected via Bluetooth and USB to a laptop streaming Hi-Res files from Amazon Music HD. Klipsch 5 - The bass was loose, incoherent and too loud. At low to medium volume, they sounded good. Hooked up to an Audio Technica LP60 turntable, the Klipsch 5 sounded better than the TUK when using the onboard…
