I bought this belt to wear with cargo pants. It goes very well with the cargo style. The belt looks very sturdy, including the buckle and grommets. It's quite long and needs adjusting to the right length, but it's very easy - just unbuckle, cut the strap to the new length, put it back in the buckle, and buckle the buckle; no tools are required for this.

The metal eyelets look like they'll last but only time will tell. The cotton canvas material is quite thick and should last a long time and is NOT made in China.

Excellent canvas belt. Easy to crop. The rivets are very strong (they have withstood months of very heavy use without detaching from the material). Looks like a quality belt. The only minor downside is that the metal pad that the belt runs through is not attached to the belt (i.e. it moves freely). This means it's ringing. However, the belt does not ring when worn (which I noticed). This design may be intentional (because it creates fewer things to separate).
