I used this Kasteco Art ruler pen with my existing masking fluid and it worked great on very fine and large lines. I would recommend (just don't know why you need 2)

What a great pen for a variety of arts and crafts uses, including xaligraphy! I will always keep a pair near New York. Gray value for money!

I use it as a covering liquid for my watercolors. It is very difficult to draw a thin straight line. I tried to regulate, control the pressure and play with the amount of liquid, but the result is almost the same. The only positive is that it is easy to wash. I might try another brand to compare.

Glad I found these for applying masking fluid. My only complaint is that I can't get super fine lines with it. Maybe I just need to practice more with them. But I love how easy they are to clean - you don't have to worry about the liquid drying out and ruining them like using a brush does.

In theory this is a good tool for some environments. I wanted to use it to apply watercolors to create drawings. I used thin watercolors. Maybe thicker colors would work better. It's difficult to control when the ink moves onto the paper. I prefer DIPED CALLIGRAPHIC pens or CARTRIDGE CALLIGRAPHIC pens where I have much more control over how the ink flows from the pen to the paper, more control over thin or wide lines (nibs of different sizes) and callig nibs and pens to designing or writing…
