No English instructions

I couldn't figure out how to assemble it or get it working because the instructions weren't available in English. I also checked YouTube but still had a hard time getting it to work

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Only available in black

No English instructions

Assembly instructions in Japanese only. Very difficult to assemble without English instructions. There is also no screw attaching the handle to the machine.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Available in white only

Limits what it can cut.

This machine does not slice cucumbers. The center bar only mushes the center of the cucumber when you try to twist it, so you can't slice it into a leaf. He works with zucchini, but even with that he's pretty fickle. Zucchini should be the right size. I've found that the center turns to mush in larger squash, as does cucumber. Changing the design with the end tines (they should be longer/bigger) holding the veggies in place can make it workable.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Upgrades
