🐱 Long John Litter Pan by Kaytee - Assorted Colors Review

Very light. Unless you attach it to something or make it heavy (I put a rock in it) it will tip over. It does not stick to all cells! My guinea pig keeps tipping it over and she's too big for that so she ends up in it and urinates on her side. As you can see in the picture. She also chews on what I teach her.

The best pan I've ever tried. My little 4 month old ferret took to it straight away. As it grows, it poops over the edge from time to time, which is very difficult to clean; I wish it was a little longer with higher edges. Fits very well in my cage. the hooks keep him in the corner of the cage (my ferret is weird and loves to climb behind the tray). Overall a very good skillet.

I made a mistake by not measuring. I bought these for my ferrets to hang around the apartment when they are outside. Smaller than I expected and as we know ferrets love a big open box to climb into. Little ferrets use it sometimes but my big boys don't even look at it. Let's get back to the pee pads. But the product is really well made, just wish there was a bigger version.

I have a very spoiled Dutch dwarf who doesn't like variety. He's had a litter box since he was a kid (it was a triangular litter box for ferrets) and he's always used it. I was concerned about his change and how he might react to something new. At first he threw it and grunted, but I applied some of his old filler to the new one and he immediately got used to it. I'm so glad I was able to swap out his old smelly box without much hassle.

I liked everything about the playpen except two things: 1) It had no holes in the back to attach the tie to the cage. Anyone who has had a mischievous ferret knows that they will try to get under or behind them and turn things around. I just made two small holes in the tray. 2) I couldn't choose a color. The photo showed a purple little box that would have matched my purple cage, but they sent me a neon green one. In general I was satisfied with my purchase.
