Woven all natural bamboo cup shaped nest is ideal for canaries. Approximately 4 inch diameter nest has wire hooks entwined in the bamboo fibers for easy hanging in cages. Individually hand woven so each piece is unique. Encourages courtship, breeding and nesting behavior.

The birds liked it. for birds

I bought this for my zebra finches because they didn't like the other nest I bought. Now they spend so much time in this nest I wonder where they are. It was a great price! I will buy more in the future.

Doesn't Stay Level Best in Nests

It's very hard to get this nest to stay level. Anyway it's probably too small for my diamond pigeons so I'll make my own but it was recommended and I just don't think it works that well. I was pretty awesome twisting the metal hooks around the bars but they got knocked off a couple of times. I can't just take it off to encourage my birds to take a break from breeding from time to time.

Although some safety measures may be needed, it's still a good nest, good price, etc. I've been using them for many years.

They are not very strong and are uneven in places. I sand them down before putting them in the cages so there are no splinters or injuries. That being said, I've been buying this style for years because it's the right size and the price is good. I would never use anything that would bother me for security reasons if I looked it up myself. While they aren't the best, the price is more affordable if you need them in bulk and I've never had a problem with them. Also, unlike closed nests, it is…
