Bought this remote to replace a factory remote that no longer works. The remote works right out of the box, no programming required. I've had this remote for 2 months now and it works perfectly.

The mute button is almost flush with the cover, you have to work to make it work, the number 3 button gets stuck after occasional use. Mute button - the worst function is meaningless, it cannot be higher than the other buttons

Upon arrival, I noticed that the "MUTE" button is almost flush with the surface. I thought it was bad and started the return. When the second detachment arrived, I noticed that they also had the same disposition. So to my embarrassment I returned a fully working unit.

Pros: Remote works as expected with my Sony KDL-52W4100. Cons: The inner plastic tab holding the battery spring broke after a few days. I didn't want to bother with the replacement so I fixed it. Then the remote control fell off the armrest of the chair and the battery cover broke. In general the remote control works but it will need to be replaced soon as it is fragile and not strong enough for my family.

I originally purchased a JustFine replacement for my original OEM remote. "It's not JustFine. I found the JustFine remote very different than the one I had with my Sony TV. The remote has a poor material fit as it rattled when moved and the battery compartment is different from the original remote. I don't know if this one was defective or not so I ordered a replacement to see if there was a next one. the same as the first one i got. I will write a second review after receiving a replacement. Bought 2 remotes in October 2018 to use with our original SONY TV remote. I wanted to have additional remote controls in different places. At first they both worked with AA batteries, but after a SHORT time they could find that the batteries were a bit loose and not making contact for power (bad springs?); then you hear broken plastic parts inside.
