I like it. The reason for the 4 stars is that the sides of my sofa are sloping and cats just crawl underneath to scratch. I easily solved this problem by using upholstery pins to mimic the curves of the sofa. Now use either this product or rather a real scratching post.

I really like that the fabric stays draped on the chairs. I tucked the bottom away along with the pillow and it stays in place. My only complaint is that I wish it had come in a larger size. It doesn't cover the length of the chair's armrest, allowing the cat to jump on it and scratch it while avoiding it.

Our cat started stretching/scratching on the couch. It was exactly what I was looking for. It's an understated color, even with a brown sofa. My husband didn't even notice I was wearing it. The cat now ignores the couch, which is fine with me. The coverage area doesn't cover the entire hand, but my cat grabbed a specific part that it covered completely. .

This mat is of good quality apart from the way it was packaged. He was folded and still has wrinkles from folding a few weeks after birth. The idea sounds good, except if you don't have a piece of furniture with sides or armrests that are straight at the top and bottom, the cat will just crawl under the rug and keep scratching. I have two cats and neither has tried to scratch him once.

My kitty decided to scratch the dog toy basket and I couldn't find anywhere a scratching post that was vertical and had a wide angle for her which she seems to particularly like the one that is 3ft tall! It was such a relief that only $20 came same day with some other items and it depends on the area she wants to scratch. It works great! I am so thankful for this product and I am so happy that it is flexible and can be bent around the basket. I highly recommend this product!

I bought 2 of these a while ago to protect the arms of a new sofa from being scratched by cats...cats are going out of those Going away to avoid these pads and working around them to still scratch the real couch XD They are really well made and would be perfect if my cats actually used them... I bought this for a sofa back, not a computer chair back. My cat doesn't seem to like sisal very much, neither does my back, so I flipped it. She likes it and it's still strong and thick enough. I use it every day and save my bowel movements. Some of her claws were damaged from the fight and are still delicate, so I don't think she'll be using sisal much. I think she would have liked it otherwise. The kitten had nowhere to scratch and it broke my chair. She is noticeably happier now. The BEST…
