KEEN Targhee Hiking Nights Carpet Boys' Shoes : Outdoor Review

I have been buying keens for years, always the same size and they have been perfect. I am an adult with a small foot - child size 4. Unfortunately they are now switching production. Shoes no longer fit, feel cheap and are not as durable as their old product. I tried two different models but I had to return both. The first ones were very tight, but these are at least 2 sizes bigger than usual and also too tight.

Everyone in my family has Keen shoes and we love them. My eldest son is very picky about his shoes so about a year ago I realized I needed to invest in more expensive and better quality shoes. I bought him a pair of Keens a few months ago. Our new puppy chewed his shoelaces and blew a hole in his heel. I had to replace them and opted for a pair with velcro closures. I was hoping that if our pup somehow manages to get his teeth in, the Velcro might extend the life of the shoe. But they appeared…

My son has autism and only wears certain Keens models. Well, that style was discontinued, so I had to come up with something else. After looking at shoes with him on the internet, we decided on this pair. When they arrived he tried them on and to my relief he liked them and now wears them with no problem. His only problem is that the place where the tongue attaches to the top of the shoe can move and make him uncomfortable, so he has to make sure the tongue is in the right place when he puts it
