Sturdy, attractive and easy to install

I put 4 of these in the open slots on the back of my 1959 Ford F100. Now I have a way to keep things down. They were very easy to install and appear to be very durable. Appearance is good too! 2 thumbs up!

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • No power

Insert 2019 Ram 1500 Box Slots

I added them to the front and rear oval box slots on the trucks. The truck came with front and rear D-rings about 3 inches off the ground. I needed a high mount closer to the edge of the body so I installed it.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Unsafe

Made some modifications to exterior accessories

I have to admit that I bought these knowing my 2003 Dodge Dakota didn't have bed bags. I drilled holes in the bed rails and used seat belt anchors to strengthen the connection at the bottom. In this modification, the installation is solid and looks great.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Works great on a 2017 Ram 1500

Finding a mounting point that didn't require constant modifications to the truck was difficult. It worked (even with the plastic cover) and only took 1 minute per side to install. The fairing looks like a factory bumper, so no complaints there either!

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • boring packaging

My cargo network works great with these

Does its job. Ordered two sets as Texas requires everything sent to the landfill to be tethered. My cargo network works great with them. My pannier is a bit smaller than new trucks, so installation was a bit tricky and not as sturdy as I would like. I don't carry heavy loads so they work for my purposes.

Pros
  • A sea of positive emotions
Cons
  • The presence of an exchange

Make sure they fit snugly.

Follow the installation instructions, then drive for a few days, then re-tighten the fasteners with a large screwdriver or bar. I used them to mount an aluminum tool box on a Chevy K1500 and they worked great. An added bonus was that they were a bit different from the other four mounts and hidden in the box. Tip: Use an adjustable wrench open enough to fit the mounting hole. Works great in hard-to-reach places (like aluminum toolboxes)

Pros
  • Great for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Hard to say

Makes the pickup truck more useful

They make the pickup truck platform safe for transporting all types of cargo. Nothing is more dangerous than cargo in the back of a truck that is not properly secured. I've seen cargo fly out of the back of a truck causing accidents and damage. They fit into the strut holes found in most pickup truck bodies (most trucks have 4). Once inserted, the latch will pop open at the end allowing the user to tighten through the top attachment point. Creating 4 new attachment points on the top of the body

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Faulty

I wish it was all steel construction

The best thing about this product is that it is easy to install. I thought the base plate that separates the clamp from the attachment mechanism was metal, it's actually plastic. I'm really afraid to tighten the thing as tight as I really want it to avoid breaking the baseplate. It seems that no matter how tight you tighten them, you can still loosen them by firmly pressing your palms together. I really wish everything about them was metal construction. Due to my fear of breaking the baseplate…

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Not bad overall but...
