I bought this set to replace an old set of oven mitts I had. The old kit was flimsy and holes began to appear in it. These long and thick mittens perfectly protect my hands and part of my hands. The silicone grip on the mittens is also very nice. I can grip handles with smooth surfaces better than with a normal cloth glove. This set also includes potholders and towels. They are also of good quality and useful to have with you.

I like the silicone grips, which help absolutely non-slip. The mittens also fit well and are easy to use. Farbik inside is soft and smooth. I use both mittens and potholders at 450F and my hands don't burn. This allows me to achieve maximum heat resistance of the products. I recommend using another layer, like oven mitts on the outside or a pair of thin mittens on the inside if you need to hold the heat longer than taking the pan from the oven to the countertop. .

I got these things because it's time to give up our others. They were so old and worn that my hands burned every time I took something out of the oven. I love that they have loops to hang them on hooks in my closet for easy access (and drying after washing). They are quilted. The set also included two tea towels. Microfiber on one side, woolen fabric on the other (I don't know what the word is). I'll add a review once I've washed it. They make a great kitchen starter kit!

I was pleasantly surprised by the handles. They are usually so thick that you can hardly maneuver them or feel like you can take them out of the oven.
