I bought this product because I can never get a perfect slice of cheese with a regular knife. The slices were always uneven, sometimes too thick, sometimes too thin. This slicer has 100% solved this problem. Cuts well, easy to use, no need to buy a super expensive electric meat grinder, it does its job perfectly. Highly recommended!

We had a similar cheese cutter, so no problem. First, the wire is easily removed. Dressing is a problem. Slicing the cheese ensures that it comes loose. I literally used it once and the wire came loose. Then I struggled for a long time, finally gave up and tried to reattach the wire. My husband put it on but it fell off again. I give up. It's useless.

The metal edges on the bottom are rough and very sharp. It's easy to get a serious cut on your finger. The steel wire only lasted 6 times to cut cheddar cheese before the wire fell off. The replacement cable that comes with the kit cannot be rearranged, rendering it unusable. I wouldn't buy this. We had to throw ours in the trash after the steel wire broke. No warnings about unfinished edges and no instructions on how to change the wire. garbage

I bought this a few weeks ago and one end of the cord just snapped. There are no instructions so while I have spare cords I have no idea how to put in a new one! And when slicing cheese, the handle hits the countertop before it cuts all the way through, so you either have to place the cutter on a tall cutting board or move the slicer closer to the edge of the countertop so the handle can go down the edge of the counter . I would never buy again.

The product arrived in an opened box with the cutting wire broken. The reason I ordered this from many similar products on the AMAZON network was that it comes with 5 spare cutting wires. Although the wire was broken I tried replacing it with one of the wires supplied only to find that the construction is such that it is in principle impossible or perhaps just impossible to install the wire with both ends secured . You need the best product designers.

I like the stainless construction, the ability to change the wire and adjust the tension to it. The minimalist stainless steel design is acceptable, although the slotted design means there are a lot of cheese crumbs under the cutting surface, some of which get stuck in the underlying hardware.
