This is an absolute must have for spending time at the beach. Easy installation, high build quality and won't take up much space in your bag.

Filled with water even with very little rain, blown away by the wind and the pole broke on the second use! Not the usual Kelty quality product that we are used to.

This shelter was easy to transport and install. However, I felt that it was much smaller than the setup's dimensions. The disappointment was that I was only able to use it once. The rod broke on the second installation. It was too expensive for disposable accommodation. I would not recommend this product.

This product is for shade only. I put it in my garden the day I got it. We had a quick downpour the next day (only lasted about 10 minutes) when I looked out that Kelty was collapsing and one of the leg braces was broken. I contacted Kelty and they sent me a brand new one which I sent back straight away! If you plan to use it as a camping shelter to keep out the rain, get something else, it won't work. I've been using folding beach awnings for many years and the wind has blown them apart every year. I wanted something big and flexible that could stand up to the beach wind without weighing a ton. I bought this canopy for beach use to replace one of those heavy, light weight canopies. I've used one of these a couple of times and haven't had any issues except that they're heavy when you have to lug them to the beach.
