Fridge parts and accessories aftertaste

Okay maybe I'm a water snob, my husband keeps telling me that. Received this much sooner than I thought given the post COVID-19 online shopping madness. Thankful for that. It was very easy to put in my fridge. This is by no means a cheap filter. I bought a cheap replacement last time and the water never tasted right. So this time I thought I'd spend the money on a device that was supposed to come with my fridge. Well, I'm sorry to say that it still doesn't taste the same. RATS! I drained over 3

Pros
  • Very impressive
Cons
  • Definitely bad product

That does not work! 50 dollars down the drain!

I have ordered many of these replacement filters from Revain in the past but this is the first time we have had trouble getting them to work. I installed the filter as usual and ran a few liters of water through it. As soon as it cleared we started using water but it tasted awful! I spilled more liters of water. still had a horrible, chemical taste. Well we haven't been able to drink water from the fridge dispenser for months! I don't even want to use ice cubes! $$ in the wind. and we are tired

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Expensive

Brown slime in water after washing with five gallons of water.

NEVER buy this item online again unless I have to and if so, then it has to be somewhere else. I followed the directions and ran about 4 gallons or more of water through the filter prior to first use, the water appeared clear and smelled nice. On the 4th day after purchasing the filter, when I woke up in the morning and tried to draw water, I found a brown slimy substance in the water. I would love to take a picture of him, but my first thought was to throw the water out in disgust. I bought…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not everything fits

Can't beat the original (anymore)

The Sears Kenmore filter is a bit pricey, but it does the job well. It clearly outperforms other, less expensive filters. I've always used a Kenmore filter but one day I thought I'd save a few bucks, tried another cheaper brand and was extremely disappointed with the taste and quality of the water. So I switched back to the Kenmore brand filter and immediately noticed a tremendous difference in the taste and quality of the water. I will be sticking with the Kenmore filter from now on as the few

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Expensive
