Small and strong: Kettle

After a bad experience with two temperamental and short-lived kettles, I've decided to go back to basics. But there were a lot of bad reviews about so many kettles. Recurring themes were melting plastic parts on the spout and a peeling Teflon coating on the inside. This pot has none of these flaws. The lid of the spout is all metal and the inside is stove enamelled, as is the outside, only dark blue. It's also a nice small size. Ideal for one cup at a time and small kitchens.

Very nice, well-made teapot

This is a good, well-made teapot. Whistle great. good weight I only use 1 or 2 cups a day so I have to throw it out if there is excess water in it. I tried reusing the water the next day but my tea tasted like stainless steel lol. I was used to an enameled teapot that could be warmed up with water from the past few days, and it tasted okay. Now I drain it daily and give it to my plants. :). No signs of rust. The handle stays warm but feels good in the hand. Opens and closes with ease. I have…

Does not whistle :( in the kitchen and dining room

Very cute, more than I expected and I love the color. I have 2 children and I really needed a whistle in this product. Despite the reviews, I I have took the chance to think maybe they just had faulty ones but unfortunately I also have a kettle without a whistle. The handle makes that subtle rasp/feel when moving which I can ignore as the product's handle still moves. The whistle I can't stress this enough though, if you need a whistle to alert you when the water is boiling you might be better…

Great kettle for kitchen and dining room

This kettle is the best. We had a very cheap metal one that lasted a long time but was difficult to clean and not as attractive or pleasant to use. And we had one for about the same price as this one that rusted instantly and the lid was sticky and difficult to clean. This teapot is beautiful and appears to be well made. It holds water well and has a nice whistle (not as loud as others). The enamel makes it very easy to clean inside and out. We have used it for 7 months and it is like new with…

Great kettle, best in kitchen and dining room

Great kettle. simple design, serves its purpose. is it just a kettle Apparently not. After my expensive teapot overcooked and the enamel on the burner melted (the pipe was left open; grrrr!), I needed a new teapot. And a new burner. I also ended up with enamel as my old teapot chipped and flaked after 10 years. I was also quite surprised to find that most kettles have complaints of rust, leaks, bad solder joints causing leaks, bad grip position, etc. Who would have thought? I almost gave up and
