Great product for FM transmitters

I received this charger/transmitter as a gift and I love it! I really feel like I "can't live without it!" The signal strength is great, it charges the iPod while it's transmitting, and costs only a little more than a transmitter that doesn't charge! I wore it out after only a year of use. I would have bought a new one in a heartbeat but I couldn't find this model in any of the local stores so I tried a few others and they just couldn't compare. I threw away the rest and bought this one again…

Great accessory for MP3 and MP4 players

The second type of transmitter I have had. The first one broke. Good at sending and good at loading. I had no problems and would buy this product again.

Kensington Car Charger FM Transmitter for iPod

I bought this unit after reading all the great reviews. I was very disappointed. The reception was poor in my car and my girlfriend's car. I tried all frequencies and different iPods (Nano and Mini). I sent it back.

Works well, would like more frequencies

Overall I am satisfied with this product. I live in North County San Diego so I get a lot of LA and SD radio stations. I managed to find a working frequency or two depending on where I am. When approaching SD or LA I often have to switch frequencies as some stations sound stronger while others are muffled. Sounds good after blocking, but the volume needs to be turned up. The charger is very useful. The main disadvantages are the lack of frequencies available and the normal quality differences…

Better Than Others

Because it's a cable and not a mount, you can pick it up and see what you're playing on your iPod. The only issue I've found is a slight crackling sound, which can be fixed by pulling the cable straight out and placing the iPod in the back seat. Apparently the cable is the antenna.

Works exactly how you want it

I checked different FM stations before buying as my car only has a CD player/radio. The iTrip and similar patch channels had very mixed reviews, and I didn't particularly like the way they looked on the iPod. Then I noticed Monster's iCarPlay, which seemed like a good idea for charging and broadcasting, and I speculated that it might be a better transmitter simply because it has more power to it. While browsing other similar products, I came across this Kensington product. I decided to buy it…

Easy to use, decent sound, FM transmitter and charger in one

Firstly, as every published FM transmitter review advises, use a cassette adapter or direct input when You can. But if you're like me (no cassette player, direct input costs more $$ than I'm willing to spend), the Kensington charger/transmitter is a good option (don't know if a digital version ever came out). , but it might be an option). The reception in my car is good and I don't have to worry about moving the iPod since the transmitter is in the adapter. The sound is comparable to a…
