I got a new radio, amp and these speakers to replace the old Sony speakers in the boat. I installed these speakers and they made a huge difference even without a new radio and amp. The sound quality is very good. After installing the radio and amplifier, the sound got even better.

Used these to replace my fifth wheel speakers which were practically falling apart. Good speakers and holes even match the originals. They're a bit deeper than the originals, which required some trimming, but that was behind the cabinets so no one could even tell. The sound is MUCH better than the original even when it was new.

Good product, especially for the price. I bought these to replace another set of speakers that were having corrosion issues because I have another set of these exact speakers and they really try to keep up and keep a good sound. These are not the best speakers out there but they are excellent for use at sea and I am very happy with them.

Tweeter jumped out of center a few weeks after purchase Didn't lock in well They weren't the most expensive, but they weren't the cheapest either, or they were cheap did. I suggest buying the boss for a fraction of the price. Looked into the warranty, it's too complicated to make a request through Kenwood. I understand that sometimes things break prematurely, but if they don't make warranty claims easier for everyone, this speaker gets a bad review.

I bought these to replace cheap single cone speakers in my new RV. The speakers are of decent quality and fit perfectly in the ceiling of my van. Sound quality is pretty decent for a $50 speaker kit. For those giving a low star rating. You can't crank and distort a speaker and expect it to last, especially a $50 speaker set. I installed two pairs of these speakers in a 20 foot compact car that I use on a fresh water lake. I am running the speakers with a new Kenwood stereo/CD player.
