I installed two pairs of these speakers in a 20 foot compact car that I use on a fresh water lake. I am running the speakers with a new Kenwood stereo/CD player. The speakers replaced the non-marine speakers installed by the boat's original owner. The original full stereo didn't have much volume, and the cones of these speakers broke down over time. be more durable than the speakers they replace, in fact I believe they will be the last speakers I ever have installed on this boat. Installation was very easy. The screw holes matched the old ones exactly and I was able to use the same wiring as the old ones. I will update the speaker wiring in the future. I was particularly satisfied with the volume of the speaker. I can hear them perfectly, with no distortion, even when cruising through open water at 35 mph.
