fits 2008 Ridgeline

Genuine Honda Ridgeline speakers are the cheapest I've seen. These Kenwood speakers sound great, lots of highs. Do yourself a favor and order the Metra 72-7800 speaker wire harness ($6/pair) and scosche SAHR6 ($9/pair) for a clean and professional installation.

Good speakers, produce even little base

Good speakers. Replaced all the stock speakers in my daughter's '97 Chevy. They replaced the speakers in the front doors and have much better volume and sound quality. There's even a decent base. Not the best but worth the price.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Not the best, but not bad either

Compared to OEM door speakers, they come very close to original Alpinw quality. They still never hit the base like a single ended but honestly they sound 10x better than any three way. I would recommend them for a decent sound at a moderate price.

Pros
  • Good stuff
Cons
  • Very expensive

Great sound Speakers

I used these speakers to replace the stock door speakers in my 2002 LeSabre and they fit well. I always try to use adapter cables that are available for GM vehicles. This is a small additional charge that is well worth it. Easy installation and great sound. I would recommend these speakers as a replacement for OEM style speakers.

  • Excellent construction

  • Not bad

Not bad for the price

Put these in my 06 Electra Glide with a Kenwood 600w amp. It used to have 5.25 hogtunes and I liked the sound, I just wanted a little more bass. They sound about the same, just a little more bass. Didn't disappoint me for the price. They distort about 3/4 of the way with a nice amount of bass. I should get on the freeway and see how they're doing. Not disappointed, but not shocked either.

Pros
  • Hands free
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

They really have NO bass

Please note that all reviews saying they have no bass are correct. I have other Kenwood speakers and am always impressed with the bass. Not with these. Installed them on a 2005 Chevrolet Aveo. It's actually pretty easy to install. 2 people are required for installation. Unless your arms are 9 feet long. Let's get back to sound quality. Mids and highs are good. Listening to NPR is great. Listening to real music is pretty sad. But you are still connected to the factory radio. I will update the…

Great speaker replacement

The only thing I don't like is the power rating (watts) which makes it difficult to tell the power at a glance. These speakers said they were 320 watts. You will then find that each speaker is rated for a maximum output of 160. So 320 W is the sum of both speakers. Then you read on and finally realize that the continuous output is 100 watts into 4 ohms. It would be nice if the description said 100 watts of continuous operation with a peak power of 160 watts at 4 ohms. I'm replacing 20 year old…
