I liked the look of the glass and chrome, but the angle that made me buy it was too narrow. I was disappointed and was about to send them back until I had an idea. I turned them into corner shelves for the bathroom counters! I added silicone dots (or pads) on the bottom to keep the counters from scratching and voila! It worked like a charm!

The shelf itself is beautiful and can be made to work if there is a practical and there are additional screws from other projects as they sent 3 screws and then the fourth was a flat decorative self - Self-tapping screw, for lack of a better term. This Allen key might also come in handy for something else that should have an Allen key but doesn't fit, but it's useless on this shelf as each screw is Phillips. So close.

Relatively easy to install but no instructions. This seems to be a common theme in reviews. Equipment quality is low. Be prepared for missing parts. I bought 2 of these, one was missing the mounting bracket and the other was missing the rubber stop on the screw that tightened the glass. If I hadn't caught it, I would have shattered my glass while putting it on. Also, one screw was a Phillips head and the other was a flat head screw! There were several less than ideal reviews on these shelves. It really shouldn't exist. I drilled the grout in the shower to avoid drilling through the ceramic tile, which also automatically lined up the drill holes. The included fasteners secure the brackets securely. As long as your wall corners are square enough, they're easy to install, hold a lot of weight, look good, and should last indefinitely. If you put them where they will constantly get wet, use caulk in the drilled holes.

I used a 1/4" diamond hole saw to drill holes in my bathroom ceramic tile to install these shelves. There are many videos on youtube on how to do this - porcelain requires diamond -Hole saws if you want to be sure you don't split the tile.It's a bit of a chore and takes time to make each hole, but it's the right way to do it.I then filled each hole with bathroom silicone and inserted the supplied plastic wall anchors. I needed a small corner shelf for a small guest bathroom and it fitted perfectly. I ordered this one as I wasn't sure if I would have room for a towel to hang or not - if so, great.
