There were several less than ideal reviews on these shelves. It really shouldn't exist. I drilled the grout in the shower to avoid drilling through the ceramic tile, which also automatically lined up the drill holes. The included fasteners secure the brackets securely. As long as your wall corners are square enough, they're easy to install, hold a lot of weight, look good, and should last indefinitely. If you put them where they will constantly get wet, use caulk in the drilled holes.
