I was unable to assemble the paper towel holder as shown in the instructions. The screw that came with it wasn't long enough. So I assembled the screw and rod and then put on the bottom base. It seems to work. Otherwise I think the product is very nice and am satisfied with the purchase.

Great paper towel holder! The base is weighted to keep it from sliding on the counter when you pull the reel. We ordered this one because our previous one was metal and the base was starting to rust from being next to the sink and being splashed with water. Recommend this holder if you keep paper towels near the sink!

This is a great paper towel holder. It was exactly what I was looking for. It has a heavy, weighted base that won't wobble when the paper towel is pulled down. It has a simple design without the useless tension holder, making it easy to take out the paper towel with one hand. The base is FLAT and has no raised flange.
