Great but no extra leg to start with

No extra leg to start with. It is also as advertised and will last for years. I had two other 200ft cassettes from the same company and still have them in my work truck. Does not expand, but the inscription remains and is not erased.

Works well, but --- when measuring linearly

Measurements start at the end of the tape, not the ring/hook. This means that you have to offset what you are attaching the ring to by 1 inch, the diameter of the ring. The description is ambiguous so don't believe it. That being said, and this can be quite annoying if you're into spot photography like me, this tape is pretty well done. One more thing: once you fully wind the tape, it snaps into the locked position. You have to pull it with quite a bit of force to advance the tape again. When…

Great tape measure for the price

I bought one of these at 100ft 5 years ago for use in my shop. This is a great long lasting tape that has been used almost every workday for the past 3 years. I found the only weak point was the hook which broke after about 2 years and I had to make my own hook. Also about 3 years old, mark the nylon with numbers separate from the metal tape around the 5ft mark and below that I taped in place.
