Good for beginners and practitioners. Not for matches

Let's face it. Plastic shuttlecocks have not yet evolved to match feathered flight patterns. They are great for beginners (I bought them to help my 7 year old connect a birdie to a club) and for practice (wall practice or just ball dribbling). I don't want to play serious matches with him or even practice the net (the difference in flight pattern is most noticeable at net when we're cutting shots to pull off a drop shot). I'm a fan! Best in Tennis and Racquets

I'm very thrifty so I buy cheap birds all summer long. When I replaced - again - the cheap ones we were using, the price went up so I looked around. I found these and decided to try them out. They cost more than I paid but we play badminton so much I thought it might be worth a try. Were they ever! They don't even compare to the ones we used. My boys play hard. They don't break. the strangest.

We've been using Yonex plastic for as long as we can remember. and while we're used to them flying - they're usually done in two sessions (reuse after warming up, then use to warm up next time you're done) - we've also tried Carlton plastics .
