Tall brass key safe for cutter/copy machines.

Many inexpensive keys sold online are made from random metals and most vendors do not cut these keys to protect their equipment from damage. This wrench is made of brass and nickel, and after tests, the metal turned out to be simple and light. This makes it safe for cutters.

Looks and feels the same as my 2010 Scion xD OEM key fob.

Exactly like the photo. Looks and feels the same as my 2010 Scion xD OEM key fob that I just replaced. Took it to the AutoZone to have it cut. At first it just turned my engine on and off, but after about 15 turns of the key it now locks and unlocks my car door as well. So far, so good.

Good but used Locksmith

The 2006 Scion tC is worth the money, especially for the price. It still costs you $25 to have two keys changed by a locksmith. You have to break the chip out of the old keys and put it in the new keys. You then need to cut new keys. Costs $25 but be prepared. It's not just an old-school job of "changing the cover."

  • Nice design

The transponder chip is in the handle

When you change the key because the buttons are worn out or the key handle is broken. You don't have to program it. Simply replace the guts of the old key and reinsert the transponder chip glued to the base of the handle. I cut out the key and transplanted the guts along with the chip. works wonderfully.

Pros
  • Comfortable handling
Cons
  • Functionality
