Please NOTE: Open the Arduino IDE, you’ll need to click the “Tools”, then select the Board that corresponds to your Arduino. If you don't choose the correct development board type, it will cause the compilation to fail to transfer. So this is a place that needs special attention. The keyestudio Leonardo is a microcontroller board based on the ATmega32u4,It has 20 digital input/output pins (of which 7 can be used as PWM outputs), 12 analog inputs, a 16 MHz crystal oscillator, a micro USB connection, a power jack, an ICSP header, and a reset button. The Leonardo differs from other boards using separate USB-Serial chip in that the ATmega32u4 has built-in USB communication, eliminating the need for a secondary processor. This allows the Leonardo to appear to a connected computer as a mouse and keyboard. Has fcc and ce certification that they are made from environmentally friendly production technology and materials, made function,voltage, current testing before packaging.

Dead USB port in computer components

Looks great! The computer found the Leonardo board as soon as I connected the USB port to the computer. then nothing. "Windows cannot recognize the USB device." And it never came back! Yes, I tried it on 3 computers. The USB port is dead.

Digital pins have high parasitic capacitance

From what I got the digital output pins had high parasitic capacitance and don't produce sharp edges but smooth s-curves. As a result, I could not use this product for its intended purpose. Not recommended.

Good project development board POC

The keyestudio Leonardo R3 development board was well packaged without any damage. It has 23 digital I/O ports, 7 PWM ports and 12 analog input ports. A great tool for prototyping electronic projects, this development board can be used by connecting it to a computer with a USB cable or to an AC-to-DC adapter. This development board comes with a USB cable.

Amazing clone of Leonardo

Works the same as my official Leonardo but cheaper! Use it as a keyboard interpreter, use Hasu's TMK converter logic, along with a USB host shield (just make sure you get one that has left side, right side, and six pins in the middle of Leonardo is connected. Those from sparkfun, that don't connect to the 6 pins in the middle, say they work on the site, but not without modifications and pins jumping).

All pins working on arrival, also USB HID functionality, great board.

The description says this Leo has 20 digital I/Os, but you can increase that to 22 with SDA and SCL. Perfect for my needs! When I received the board I wrote a quick sketch and all 22 pins went HIGH when I said it. The keyboard emulation also worked flawlessly. I've had issues with the Arduino's micro USB ports in the past, but this one is very durable and plugs and unplugs easily and securely with the included cable. micro:bits are great but won't fit on a breadboard without an adapter

You probably can't tell when you look at it, but it's a serious little computer. It packs a Nordic Semi nRF51822 ARM Cortex-M0 microcontroller that's pretty powerful alongside the BTLE radio for those who don't know. I never thought I'd see this chip on a 6th grade chalkboard because it's usually pretty serious stuff that's harder than average to program. Don't let the 6th grade GUI fool you.
