Description of KEYESTUDIO Multi-Purpose Shield V2: 4-Digit LED Display, Buttons & Buzzer for Arduino Mega Microcontroller, Electronic Programming Project

Multi-purpose Shield V1 is a learning board based on Arduin. No need for soldering and connection. Download directly the program to complete experiment. It is multi-purpose and we offer code libraries of all modules that have been tested. You can use them directly. There are extended ports on the shield to help you to complete experiment, such as using revolving potentiometer to do analog input; alarming and making sound by passive buzzer module; using 4 bit LED Segment Displays to display data. Compatible with main controller on the market, such as REV3 controller and MEGA2560

It is what it is! And that's what I was hoping for!

It does exactly what it was designed to do. The only downside I see is that the buzzer wasn't overly impressive, but other than that I like it.

Pros
  • It is versatile and we provide code libraries for all tested modules. You can use them directly
Cons
  • Protection

Ideal for demonstrating Arduino programming

A great way to show some examples of *physical calculations* is to connect the Arduino to the real world. Download a simple demo program to demonstrate a four-digit digital display, a buzzer, six independent LEDs, an ADC (analog-to-digital converter), and three pushbutton switches. You can find an online manual by googling the product name. [Revain didn't let me post the URL.] All pinouts are explained, but it would be nice to have a full schematic.

Pros
  • The Shield V1 Multipurpose Board is an Arduino-based learning board. No soldering and connection required. Download the program to complete the experiment.
Cons
  • Ugly packaging.

Good multipurpose shield for Arduino Uno

I ordered this shield for my Civil Air Patrol cadets to be able to program the Arduino Uno to tell the time, create a multi key calculator or even multiple motors to move a robot. Let the fun and imagination run wild as you create your own sets and features. The screen is fitted with LED indicators, one or two relays and resistors that can be used to turn on the LEDs in the event of a fault or condition. I would recommend this to anyone using STEM kits etc.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Slightly torn
