Works great for computers and accessories

Built-in amplifier with speaker output (no speaker included). The microphone works great. I use it with SNIPS and get plenty of sound out of a $6 speaker. GROVE connectors are a definite plus. I am using I2c to control a servo board.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Hard to remember, but it was

Works but takes a long time to set up and poor microphone quality

It's a decent product but I think it has a lot of flaws. Setting it up on the Pi takes forever and it took me a few tries to get everything set up correctly. However, in the end I successfully completed this task. I think the quality of the microphone in this product is pretty bad. Instead, I chose to use a Bluetooth speaker to record sound and had much better results with my voice assistant device.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Can hurt

Works - no problems yet

I'm honestly surprised at how well this works. Trying to build a B+ based Google Assistant and following the information on the Keyestudio website to install the correct packages got it up and running in no time. The only downside for me, and it says so in the description, is that there is only one "simple" speaker connector. Ultimately, I will most likely use the headphone jack to connect some powered speakers. However, I plugged in a small 8 ohm speaker I had laying around and it sounded…

Out of date or just not working!

Bought this card based on reviews and trying to get it to work with a Raspberry Pi Zero. Carefully follow the Seedstudio documentation for this Raspberry Pi product. It just doesn't work as documented. Every step is an obstacle. Requires a lot of research and workarounds. Feels like it's just a waste of time trying to get it to work. Either the library is outdated and doesn't keep up with later OS versions, or it's just poor documentation. In any case, the experience is not pleasant. I'll try…

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Nice but needs work

Mine worked but only after a lot of adjustments. They include instructions for installing drivers, but the instructions only work if you're running specific kernels. I set up the cross compiler and was able to install the drivers using the hand built kernel. I also ran into the problem that your suggestion to change the boot file didn't work if one of the added lines already existed in the boot file but was commented out. (Luckily I checked the file and found that one of the lines it was trying

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Some bugs
