They need to be programmed. The cost is about $35.00. They don't tell you. I assume the key fob works fine, I just never programmed it so I really don't know if it worked?

I wasn't impressed with this keychain. I took it to a locksmith and they tried three times to program the key to no avail. Turns out the aftermarket key fob doesn't work with my 2005 Cadillac CTS and I have to go to the dealer to get an OEM key fob.

fits my 2006 Cadillac SRX perfectly. Some people need to understand what their vehicle needs for the programming process before leaving bad reviews on a product. Something can be done without a diagnostic scanner, but something cannot. I had to use a scanner for this but it worked fine and for the price it's not a problem.

Must be unlocked by locksmith or dealer. But it's not a problem. But it was a great price and it came with instructions and it really helps but I need to find a locksmith and the last time I bought a locksmith they only did it for a couple bucks or five bucks so it is Worth it because the dealer will charge you about $500 so it's worth it and I recommend it.
