Enhanced Smart Key Fob Remote for 2018 2019 GMC Terrain (HYQ1AA, 13591388) Review

Claims to work for 2019 but when I followed their online instructions they don't work for 2019. If returned at my expense for shipping.

Useful when you already have two keys but don't need them. It just takes longer whether you have an existing key fob or not. I like that I now have extra keychains.

Today even programmed for the Yukon according to the instructions. Durability, time will tell Update - after 1 year - still works, no problems Update - almost 2 years, still works!

I went through the pairing process for this device but it didn't work for me. I'm hoping for a refund because it's a lot of money if it doesn't work. I will update my post after I get the refund.

Two questions arose at once. Arrived with a dead battery, after trying for 40 minutes my professional locksmith couldn't get it to work. He noticed that the electronics inside looked very different than the keys he worked with for a real automaker. He tried very hard but couldn't get it to work.

Keyring is the perfect replacement for my missing keyring. I followed the programming instructions in the owner's manual, but there is also a link to the instructions on the key fob. The key fob seems very strong and heavy like the GM version. The only obvious difference from GM is that this keychain doesn't have a Chevy bow tie on the back. 60% smaller than the GM version, I won't miss the little butterfly.

I bought a 2019 GMC Terrain from Hertz Rental. The SUV only had one key (and the wrong one, since the five-button fob had functions the SUV didn't). Suitable for SUV, this key has the function of door lock, unlock, remote start and alarm. I have followed the instructions in the user manual. Item received exactly as described. The buttons are hard plastic rather than soft rubber like the original, which I think would be better as this started to tear on my original key fob. Came with built in battery and ready to use. Extremely easy to program on my 2015 GMC Yukon XL Denali.
