Just like the original!

We have a 2006 Honda Odyssey. The back cover dangled for a while and we eventually lost it. Not to mention the knobs were worn out and not as resilient. So was it this product or just a case using our existing buttons? We chose this one and it worked so well! The remote control is solid and the buttons are firm. It is the same size as the original. Programming the ending was a little tricky. Just remember to lock/unlock each remote you want to program a few times before exiting programming…

Excellent however. best keyless entry systems

I have a 2007 Honda I have a 2007 Honda ExL so it worked great but the problem is with my system not the unit. The device works great and Honda hooked it up for free, but I don't want to give you any wrong information. I live in Rockdale Georgia so Honda here knows your name and cares about their local people especially the elderly who buy from them and get everything from them. They always give me the best advice to take me home and back so I don't have to wait! Advised me to do nothing but…

A simple programming solution.

This key fob replacement for my 2007 Honda Odyssey was difficult to program. I decided to return it and buy a replacement from my local Honda dealer. When I got to the meeting, the parts department said they were out of stock. I ended up with key fobs that I wanted to return and I asked if they would install and program them. They quickly agreed to try while I waited. In less than 20 minutes, their technician completed the programming. I was charged $22 for their efforts. I was happy to cancel…

More details. Programming is not difficult!

It looks the same as the other fobs but without the Honda symbol on the back. When following the instructions to program the new remote, I encountered a small problem. Between number 13 and number 14 there should be a step that says to remove the key from the ignition. I found a programming video on the internet. In it, the person takes out the key to show the key fob, but also does not say that it is necessary to check the key fob. Please note that if you have more than one fob (including fobs

Pros
  • One year trial version
Cons
  • Cord is shorter than other fobs

I like it, it works

Two things, the battery is already installed. Okay, but I'd rather have an insulator between the battery and the key fob so it's not already "on" and draining the battery, but NBD. Second, the instructions for the fob I received (for a 2008 Honda Odyssey) were wrong. No, I didn't download the wrong manual. I went online and found another guide that was less wrong but on the right track. Here's what worked. Make sure the door is closed and unlocked. then they all go through this sequence…
